Details
This year we opted for an extremely lean organization. This means no conference fee, coffee breaks are offered with the help of sponsors, and lunch / social event / dinner are organized based on the number of interested participants. The lecture hall is equipped with WiFi connection for participants, a projector, and a PC for presentations (Windows, Microsoft Office, OpenOffice, Acrobat Reader).
In order to participate you are asked to:
- send any question to one of the Contacts
- fill in and print the Adobe Acrobat Form from Registration
- fax the form to the number displayed in Contacts
The meeting is announced on the openafs mailing list "openafs-info@openafs.org" and the German mailing list "afs@afs-konferenz.de".
The current organization foresees:
- Lunch:
- cafeterias close to the site
- Social Events:
- bus tour through Rome, guided visit to the cathedral San Paolo
- Dinner:
- typical Roman restaurants within walking distance
