Patrizio Angelini Patrizio Angelini is an associate professor at John Cabot University. He received his PhD in Computer Engineering and Automation from Roma Tre University in 2010. He was a Post-doc Fellow at the same University, a Research Assistant at the University of Tübingen, and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Sydney. His main research interests are in Algorithm Engineering and Complexity, with a focus on Graph Drawing and Network Visualization. His work also extends to the areas of Graph Theory, Computational Geometry, Information Visualization, and Discrete Mathematics. He will co-chair the 30th International Symposium on Graph Drawing and Network Visualization (GD2022) in Tokyo, Japan.
Giordano Da Lozzo is a tenure-track assistant professor at Roma Tre University, working in the research group on Graph Algorithms and Network Visualization. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the same institution and an assistant project scientist at University of California, Irvine. He obtained his PhD degree in Computer Engineering and Automation in 2015 from Roma Tre University. He was a Leonardo da Vinci fellow at the RIPE Network Coordination Center in Amsterdam and a visiting scholar at the Charles University in Prague. His research efforts focus on algorithmic and combinatorial questions in Graph Drawing, Computational Geometry, and Topological Graph Theory. He is involved in several research projects exploring fundamental questions about the visualisation of large and evolving networks, visualisations for cybersecurity, layouts of simultaneous and clustered networks, as well as contact and hybrid representations of real-world graphs. Since 2021 he co-chairs the organising committee of the “Summer Workshop on Graph Drawing”.
