Im a computer scientist working on statistical modelling and forecasting with a focus on applications on energy systems. During the Ph.D. my research involved the application of evolutionary computation and neural networks on engineering problems. From 2007 to 2010 I worked at the Energy Efficiency Department of ENEA (Italian Energy, New Technology and Environment Agency) and in 2011 I joined the Energy and Environment Modelling Unit in the same institution. My current research interests include statistical modelling applied to power systems and renewable energies with a focus on their connections with climate information.
