The Summer Workshop on Graph Drawing 2021 (SWGD 2021) aims at bringing together researchers in Graph drawing and related fields, such as Computational Geometry, Graph Theory, Combinatorial Optimization, and Information Visualization, to make progress on challenging open problems and identify new research directions in a relaxed and stimulating environment. Participants are asked to prepare some open problems for presentation and working groups are allowed to form spontaneously based on personal interest. The format is informal and may include few presentations of recent results. To support collaboration and exchange, subgroups are asked to share their findings through regular progress reports.
Place and dates: Borgo solario from the 31st of August (a Tuesday) to the 5th of September (a Sunday), 2021
Schedule: We plan to have sessions from 9:00 am to 12:00 am and from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. There will be a quick progress report on Thursday afternoon and a final one on Saturday afternoon.
Social event: There will be a social event on the 3rd of August (a Friday).
